They did finally figure out what is going on with his arm. Apparently he has had bulging discs in his back for sometime now. Whatever that means. The neurologist said they have been steadily getting worse for awhile and it was only a matter of time before they started causing problems. Go figure that would happen when he is already admitted in a hospital. So now they are going to do a pin test (again, whatever that is) to find out which nerves are having problems and then try to fix it. That problem may or may not be all cleared up by the time he leaves, since it isn’t actually related to his transplant. My dad’s just a bundle of medical mysteries. His hair is almost all gone. The sides of his beard are pretty thin as well, but it’s not falling out as fast around his mouth so he has this weird facial hair thing going on. And, never fear, his uni-brow is still holding out.
This blog is dedicated to following the status of Ron as he continues to overcome unimaginable obstacles. Only one rule... don't tell Ron that this blog exists or else we will have to delete it and you won't get updates.

Ok, I only have a sec to write today, but I just wanted to let you know that everything is still going well. They are still pretty sure he will be able to come home by the end of the week. Yay for dad. He's up to 400 on that one thing. I want to say it nutrafil levels are what we're looking at here, but I have serious issues remembering that word even though I have heard it a million times. And I have no clue how you would go about trying to spell that word. As you can tell, spelling really is not my forte. Thank you Harrison side for that.
